We were approached by this organisation from the entertainment sector, to devise, cast, produce and film a series of 5 scenarios, to be used in management training modules dealing with delegation issues and preparing for difficult conversations.
We put together a selection of “How not to” scenarios, designed to stimulate discussion within the audience group, followed by a range of more positive versions that, because not perfect, could again be used to get people talking about their experiences from the past.
We wanted to avoid a cookie cutter, instructive approach here, and as the roleplayers playing managers and team members improvised around the script, they brought an authenticity and immediacy to the conversations.
